This is the u-joint coupling.
The plastic or maybe nylon piece is in between the top and bottom
Notice the 10mm bolts back in there places.
But the nylon peice inside has been warn a bit too much I'm afraid...

Toyota has one for 498$
And there is one on eBay for 300$
