Purchased a 2023 capstone 10 months ago. Love the truck but was stopped recently by a state trooper because something was "flapping" on my roof. The result is shown in the picture. Went to the dealer and was told the same thing as others in this thread: outside influences, which ever they may be. I questioned what these influences were but no one could give me an answer. I think the initial damage happened in the carwash (owned by the dealership). Going to test the theory soon. Great way for Toyota to not have to honor their warranty.
