      Hi, I am following your instructions and have found the plug and looking at the wires. Instead of cutting the light green wire, will it work if your simply short the light green wire to the yellow wire?
      (That way, no wires have to be cut.)
      Use a quick splice snap wire connector to short the 2 wires together (without cutting any wires or insulator).
