I used this in my camper van to switch the charging source between solar and the van while the engine is running. So far it’s working great. Only real issue was the terminals were huge and I needed to expand the existing ring connectors I had laying around. It’s a pretty big switch so make sure you have the space for it. It did not come with any screws to mount, so be prepared to have some available for your application.

I order this battery switch but had to return it due to it's size and limitations. There is no option to remove the sides to make this battery switch lie flat. That was a big deal breaker for me as I was looking for something that laid flat for a console mount.

Got this to hook up two batteries on my camper
When it arrived it had no instructions for my intended hookup so I figured out a way to do it
Then I Was going to review idea with my friend who is an EE
Then I thought to go to Blue Sea Systems web site for support
I told them what i wanted to do and how I thought I should do it
Emailed them they got right back, told me I was on the right track, and sent me wiring diagram
This switch looks rock solid but it is somewhat open so I will have to think about how to enclose it since I don't think I can just do an unprotected outside mount
I chose this switch because I didn't want the switch that selects batt 1, or 2 or both since both might not work with car and camper charging system that was designed for only one battery
