I just received the same response yesterday. What a joke - Toyota should be ashamed of themselves.

The specific reasons they gave me were that I didn't get the work done at a Toyota dealership and the tires weren't the same size. I asked them how was I supposed to do that when the tires were out of stock? They said I should have waited. So stupid.

I filed a complaint with the BBB. Not sure it will change anything, but you miss every shot you don't take.

Yeah i went back and forth with them since I did the same thing. I wont use the dealer for anything - They do shit work and are more expensive. I told Toyota that too, more eloquently of course.

Hi all, I’m officially waiting from brand engagement to decide how they will help me or if they will at all. According to their systems my 2023 trd pro is not part of the recall, but is sure as shit wearing and trashing the tires! Which I hate anyways.
I want credit for new tires. If I get real wildpeaks, that would be a win for sure. At least I can resell those.

I would be filing with the BBB for sure as well, this “aggression would not stand” as the dude said In the Big Lebowski movie quoting president Bush.

Ah, fvck it, let’s go bowling!

I hope I can resolve this In a Positive way. If anyone on the Oregon area has had a dealership that has replaced them, pls share the name.

I am currently struggling with brand engagement. Toyota dealerships have this service campaigns for May 2023 and earlier TRD PRos.
Mine was manufactured later in August.

Since there are no changes between May 2023 and August 2023 (New. control arms came with MY2024) I am wondering why should this not cover me. Toyota insists there is no remedy/recall active for my vehicle.

Toyota dealership machine has my Toe at .60 total toe, while from the TSB it seems it should be 0.3 total (0.15 on each side).

Toyota also asked me to contact Falken for tire wear, and they came back saying its due to alignment and I should take it up with Toyota

Basically a run-around. All Toyota is giving me is free alignement, and no word on the tires

Is the tire wear still a problem to worry about? I'm currently searching for my first TRD Pro 22-24 and wondering if I should be concerned? Should I search for a specifc month/year manufactured?

I have an update on my case.

Took the truck for an alignment check. And guess what, my alignment numbers called on the service manual or whatever system they use to get their specs info DOES NOT, match the alignment specs from the recall.
I called my case manager and provided the information. I asked why would my trd pro have different spec numbers on the system, different than to the new specs that fix this problem? I said, there should be no reason why my truck has a different alignment spec than the “fixed new spec”.

I said, perhaps there is a bigger problem where the new trucks are being aligned properly at the factory, but then when they come back to the dealership after they have been In service and do an alignment they will get dial back to the wrong setting!

It seems to me that they updated the system to only give new specs to the vins affected, instead of blindly updated the spec to the trd pro line.

waiting another week to see what they tell me now, but now I know, it has diff alignment specs than what the recall asks for!

I noticed excessivewear on the outside part of my front tires. My 2023 Tundra TRD Off Road truck has only 19000km. Got the truck back from my Toyota dealer today and they noted the tire wear and confirmed that my tire alignment is to Toyota specifications. They agreed to speak to Toyota Canada to see what the fix is. I mentioned the current service campaign for the Tundra Pro trim models L85 and that they need to extend the service to more models as I don't want to replace my tires every couple years for a problem that originated at the factory. We will see how this goes.

Same issue here. My dealer insists on total toe of .50-.60, while the new specs which a helpful tech from another dealership on the east cost (opposite coast shared with me) says total toe not more than 0.25
I have out edge wear and falken has asked me to contact Toyota. They have assigned a case manager who is looking into it.
