Hey, do you think the frame is good on this truck? I'll post what pictures I was given.

Hard to see on my phone but that distortion at the bottom of the frame rail doesn’t look good. Could be separating from delamination but the pic is dark and out of focus. Also seeing rust on the crossmember and it’s more than surface rust.

It is a bit rough to tell in the first two photos but I see where Jack was talking about distortion is that frame rail. From my experience though and what I can see it doesn't look to worrisome. Most of your rust acquired is gonna be seen in the wheel wells, and those pics look great. Also, that crossmember is know to be one of the parts that attract rust the most but you should be okay, again hard to tell. I would personally ask for pics of the front under carriage before going any further.

Frame has been coated, which makes it difficult to say. The same two things jumped out at me that Bill pointed out. But the pictures are way too low-res to be able to do anything with, and not any of the important places. I'd want to see shots of the front crossmember and backing plates, where the spare tire crossmember meets the frame, and some body mounts. And bigger resolution, because the size/resolution of those pictures is so 1997 digital camera potato quality it's not funny.

My guess is the seller doesn't understand how bad these frames can get, or they do, and are being intentionally difficult.
