Got the car 37 months ago, so probably not. Didn’t even check tbh. Drove right to Les Schwab and got a new one.

Hopefully they plan to use the compression fittings instead of rings. Ideally they'd be doing home runs.

Regardless, a recommendation, don't let them close anything up until you can confirm absolutely no water hammer effects. This includes washer and dish washer since they have fast shut off cycles.

We had our entire house replumbed and one of the cold lines makes some chatter. Found out after the entire place was done. It's annoying to say the least.

You should start getting your gas at 0300-0400; less idiots for you to get frustrated about during that time

Is that Elon tracking your sleep so if you don't have enough rest your Tesla 'self-drive' feature is disabled since you can adjust any egregious errors it's about to commit :boink:

    Happy Friday amigos.

After two days of rain I think my allergies are subsiding. Call me 80% better. Wife has told me I am not allowed to do any work outside this weekend. Think I will finally get my garage completely organized.

Anyone have fun plans this weekend?

Copy. My suggestion is more focused on the securing of the PEX and running everything through their cycles before letting them close up access. PEX expands more than copper, so you can still get the creaking and groaning of expansion and contraction, and while it is easier to run, the flexibility also causes way more movement if there is a water hammer scenario. I'm sure they're doing a great job, just wanted to raise awareness so you had an opportunity to discuss. It's one of those "if I had known better..." things I get to live with every so often, but when it happens, I still fume.

Kids have sports, then me and kids have a concert tomorrow night (Staind, Seether, Asking Alexandria and Tim Montana), and then the rest of the weekend is prepping the camper for the season. Not looking forward to spending a day on the roof and scrubbing it all down, but it's overdue.

Fingers crossed the allergies remain kind to you!

I hear you about the camper. Other than a quick wash, I haven’t done the deep spring cleaning and wax on mine yet. It is a PITA but has to be done!

I hd no idea staind was still together. Way back when CD's were a thing I used to rock their first release often. Always fun introducing live music to the kids.

Happy Friday! Good to hear the rain helped, have fun in the garage
    Kids sports here too.
All 3 rigs need a wash but I'll probably only hand wash the Tesla, tomorrow morning.

The back is getting better so I'll try not to dick that up this weekend

Thanks for the tips. This is my first experience with Pex, so every bit of knowledge is helpful.

@bflooks I second the huge Thanks! I didn’t know pex was used in residential these days but “know it” from our trailers. That hammering sound is legit!
