FWIW, I can get much cheaper A/S tires...but for obvious reasons, I chose not to.

Yeah, I remember seeing all the nightmare abouts Tesla and Rivian service as in waiting long periods of time to get something fixed and having to get your car hauled somewhere. But yeah I still feel like 306$ is a lot considering when I drove a Maxima I would get tires for like 140$ a piece. And I can get nicer, much larger truck tires for that price that are rated for 65k+.

Idk why some people choose to tow their vehicle to Tesla/Rivian if there's a flat? Just change it, or take it to DT, or anywhere lol. Tires are tires people.

I was talking about serious issues. Like gas pedal in Cyber trucks getting stuck and essentially creating 6000 lb missiles on the street. Those need trailers because they are too dangerous to drive.

    Basically just FUD

Here's the temp fix for a potential issue nobody with a CT has experienced (but could potentially). Tesla has a more permanent solution coming.

It wasn’t getting stuck..it was the overlay of the pedal coming off. I’m sure a few couldn’t figure out and put it neutral though. People aren’t the brightest.

And on top of that the brake pedal overrides the go pedal on any Tesla

    Buccee’s supercharger 250kw

    900 miles per hour

amazes me every time I see it

    230 miles cost me $21

I think it really took 20 minutes.

They'll also feature things like backup cameras and cruise control as "cutting edge futuristic technologies."

Houston to Dallas to Houston road trip, in the MS, is complete.

    observations:

    1. it still rides as smooth as a '77 Cadillac on the hwy
    2. we used ~75% of the battery between charges. it was nice because I45 has boo-koo chargers. we utilized the Buccee's chargers.
    3. FSD was not good. I45 is the land of drunk 18 wheelers. and FSD likes to stay in the dead-ass middle of the road. not good.
    4. one section had expansion joint repair - i.e. cloppity-clop sound...someone says....that's what it sounds like when I have a flat.
    5. was next to 2 CT's at the Ennis, TX S/C location. I now need one.
    6. Navigation on the MS is very nice. it works well. we stayed at DFW Hyatt. it knew all the loopty loops to get there, without any GPS lag.
    7. I'll say it again...there is nothing like the passing power of an EV.

I'll take yours for the very low depreciated price that our EV's are now trading for

On a serious note, I like keeping up with the car market and monitor values. You can pick up a Plaid with 30,000 miles for $60K-65Ko_O It looks like we all got halved...

Honestly, that is probably holding me back from getting one with a teenage driver on our insurance. My M3P alone is not cheap to insur with her on it. I could imagine a Plaid being much more.
