As soon as I find time one morning, I'm going to get out to his shop and get the process rolling for my double cab Tundra sliders!

This looks like the only bolt on option for first gens that are similar to RCI sliders.

@BashFab do you make bolt on sliders similar to these or the RCI sliders with top plates for a 2000 AC? Also they would need to be shipped to Thornton, CO.

I think Brute Force Fab sliders are bolt on too. You just have to weld the legs to the rest.

Bash Fab is doing it that way for me as well for shipping purposes. Seems like only good option for freight costs.

As of right now I have only test fit bolt ONS on the double cab that use a 97" slider. However if someone close enough to Columbia, SC can come by I can see if the same bolt on plates match up just in different locations

I plan to mock my Bash Fab sliders up next week. And weld on over the weekend. Bash Fab built me Weld on's for my RCLB which have very few optiond now. Fab work is solid , and everything in plumb. I would recomend as Vendor. Sorry no pics painted just yet:

They come with nice looking gussets as well as very stout legs. Easy to work with, honest seller. 20240209_151257.jpg 20240209_151306.jpg 20240209_151342.jpg

Are the days of $300-$400 sliders done? I am looking around for 1st gen AC and the prices for regular sliders with a kick out are:
Coastal - bolt on - Starting at $696
Rocky Road - bolt on - $799 for basic no kick out
Hot Metal Fab - weld on - $459 for DIY and $659 for assembled --DOM is extra $30 for DIY and $70 for assembled
Brute Force - weld on - $495 + $145 for bolt on attatchments
    White Knuckle - bolt on - $935

This is what I've found on a few websites before tax and shipping to SoCal. Does anybody know any local to Southern California (LA are but will travel) fab guys or other options? I'm trying to keep it reasonable for good steel and solid welds, which may be where I am dated on my expectations!

I haven't seen a $300 slider for quite some time. What's worst is that I remember back in the mid to late 90's when a very nice custom rock slider cost closer to $150-$200.

Yeah those days are unfortunately long gone. I kick myself daily for not getting rock sliders for my 4runners years ago.

Couple things to consider with those rock sliders you have listed; are they WIY or assembled sliders? Also what is the construction? Those Coastal sliders look a little pricey but they have the bolt on plates and have square tubing for the legs and main tube which is the strongest style you can get. Makes the cost a little more worth it, especially with heavier trucks like Tundras

I know you already know about our group buy Eric, but for anyone else that is looking at all of this, we do have a group buy going on for Coastal. 15% off of products and 25% off of shipping if shipped to the shop we partnered with in California. All the info is here https://www.tundras.com/threads/bumpers-sliders-skids-group-buy-all-makes-models.140683/
