Drivers side grab handle UPDATE!!

I guessed correctly. The bushings are on back order. ETA 4/23. It's looking like Memorial Day to upgrade suspension, as well as do my handle.

 

Let us know the stock status of these parts if you find out.

 

I was told the handle and garnish are in stock and ready to ship. The rear shock bushings are on back order, which is holding up shipping. I can't complain, seeing as free shipping.

 

I ordered pillar garnish and handle 4/17, hasn't shipped yet.

 

That does seem odd, my order is still on track for 7pm today via UPS. I did receive a shipping notification, but the sender was simply “Sales” nothing referencing Fred Anderson until I opened the email. Perhaps the bushing is delaying things a bit, I’m excited for you to get your suspension installed too, I’ve been wanting to get mine done as well. Maybe I will catch a glimpse of your truck around town as I am in Hutto, just past the dell diamond.

So it turns out I have a wrong part, that's why the amount was so much lower.
Still, Fred Anderson isn't exactly easy to work with, trying to cancel an order is like pulling teeth..... *sigh

EDIT: That hex bolt went from $1.79 to $2.28
Parts number for Lowes that wants them: 75600, 135471, 139396

 

Went ahead and re-ordered and request for the original to be cancelled, whether it does or not, whatever....

 

I just placed my order with Freddy too. We’ll see if they run out of stock.

I actually had more luck in that one than cancelling this one. Worse case I have extra handle or just return and eat the restocking fee

 

Just sale it for the same price you paid, I am sure someone will take it.

 

Handle is easy, the trimming is what worries me.

 

You got the wrong color? Send it back I guess.

Looks like you bought the trim in tan (originally) but it is still for the Tundra.

I inquired about the stock status from Fred Anderson for these parts and this is the response I received.

622200C050B0) parts per day, during the sale we have received 10 orders, yours is the last one ordered, We are getting them processed in the order they arrived, your order should ship out next week.

 

Only 10? I am surprised. But as long as they don't cancel I am cool with it.

 

That's crazy that Toyota puts restrictions on items.

I called a local Toyota dealer yesterday about a part for my Tacoma and before hanging up, I inquired about pricing for a Pro grille for my Tundra and he said they cant order it unless I own an actual Pro

 

They said the handle is no problem but the garnish is another story. I agree, Hopefully they don’t cancel the order.
Maybe I should have ordered from Serra. Oh well.

 

Fred Anderson refuses to even answer my question because I didn't provide a VIN....
I was asking about an online order damn it..... I had the order number and parts number and everything and they are like a broken record: can't help you with no VIN.....

Yea, bat shit crazy..... I am not asking whether it will fit, I know it will.
I am just asking if I can switch the parts number or cancel the order, they are like, no VIN no help....

I guess Fred is out of the list for any future parts, don't care how cheap it can get, but this level of customer service is just plain shit

Well, they shipped my first order, so I guess either they are getting more than 1 unit per day, so others are cancelling them so fast that me ordering on the 2nd last day got bumped up.....
Now, I gotta wait for that 2nd order for the correct color.

 

Maybe there's no limit to one per day for the incorrect color?

I ordered mine (wrong order, but they shipped anyway) very late 4/18 was shipped 4/22 and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow 4/25 to Houston, TX.
My correct order, ordered early 4/19 is still MIA.... go figure.....lol
